Freeway junctions or interchanges are used to provide a way for the cars to move from one freeway to another without having to exit and go through the street traffic.
There are numerous types of freeway interchanges and reviewing all of them is outside the scope of this lesson.
One important thing to remember is that when you are driving on a freeway and you need to switch to another freeway, plan in advance and start moving to the right lane that connects to or exits you to another freeway in advance and not at the very last minute.
