Solid Red Traffic Light

You must stop at the line or corner until the light turns green, and the intersection is clear and safe.
In some intersections, you may turn right on red after a full stop if the intersection is clear. Do not turn if there is an NO TURN ON RED sign.
When turning left from a one-way street to another one-way street, you may turn after stopping for a red light; wait until the intersection is clear and yield to pedestrians and vehicles in your path.

Red Arrow Traffic Light:

Stop at the line or corner until the arrow turns green.
You may not turn right on a red arrow.

Flashing Red Traffic Light:

Stop as if you were at a stop sign.
Continue driving after making a full stop if the intersection is clear, follow right-of-way rules.
